Both my Great-Grandfather and my Grandfather made rosaries.
My Grandfather made a rosary for me when I was confirmed in high school. My dog chewed it up a few years later and then I lost it. Of course it wasn't long after my Grandpa died when I found my mangled rosary...
I moved in with my Gran when I went to grad school. I was cleaning one day when I found my Grandpa's rosary making kit. I dug around in my things until I found my chewed up rosary and made a stab at fixing it.
After that, I started making rosaries for my family's special occassions; Baptisms, First Communions, Confirmations. It wasn't long until my Gran gave me my Grandpa's tools.
I'm proud to be a part of a multi-generational family tradition.
I read. I read and read and read and read.
I love sudoku - it is one of my lifelines to sanity. I miss my Gran. I am new to coffee and I'm pretty high maintenance about it! I won't go anywhere without mascara and a pair of ear rings. Did I mention that I love to read and I am a sudoku nut?
